It reduces the surface tension of the water in the produced mortar and allows small air bubbles to form. Thus, the air bubbles formed in the mortar increase the workability of the mortar by showing a homogeneous distribution and stability in the cement paste during the hardening period.
It allows the mortar to pass through the pump more easily in plaster and machine applications. It increases the durability of the product by reducing the effects of freezing and thawing caused by cold weather that will damage the plaster.
Air-entraining additives;
It facilitates the workability and finishing of fresh concrete.
They also reduce the risk of decomposition and sweating.
It can be used to provide the same workability with less cement in mass concrete and lightweight concrete.
